El Síndrome de Jose Luis Cortés

El Sábado en la noche las Mariposas estaban revoloteando, estaban alborotadas; y que si Mappelthorpe se murió de SIDA, que si Warhol se murió de SIDA, que si Haring se murió de SIDA, que si Basquiat se suicidó porque tenia SIDA, que si Lorenzo Jaramillo se murió de SIDA, que si Luis Caballero se murió de SIDA, que si los maricas se estan muriendo se SIDA; y a mi que me importa, si todos se van a morir de algo, o es que hay alguno que no se vaya a morir, pues entonces no me jodan y dejen morir en PAZ.

El open studio de Jose Luis, fue un éxito Total , el equipo de Victoria Secret se le vio muy contento, las locas ni se diga, y yo comi como una lombriz. Eso si mucho francés, que Comme talle vous….???…..Comme ca, va..??? ca va bien ….merci beaucoup. Mejor dicho los de Victoria Secret eran casi todos franceses.

Como dicen por ahi……C’e la vie. …..en fin, las ilustraciones de Blas, muy sexys, muy Madonna, y ahora con su nuevo CD Confesiones sobre una pista de Baile, éxito Total, y con 48 años que ya tiene la condenada.

José L. Cortés, born in Philadelphia and grew up in Puerto Rico. Has done studies at the University of Puerto Rico and School of Visual Arts. He is currently living, painting and performing in New York City, and in recent years is also doing photography.

Cortés has been painting on newspapers, using only black and white paint for over 10 years, he said "because newspapers documents what happens in the world, and my work document what happens in my life", the color that appears in his paintings comes from the newspapers.

His work has been exhibited in Amsterdam, London, Berlin, New York and other places and has been review in New York Time, Art in America, Out Magazine among others.

Anyway, la vida continua, y yo les digo contento , hasta la próxima vez que viene…
